Are you looking for something fun and exciting to do? Oradell Public Library cardholders (age 18 and up) can borrow passes for free admission to museums in Manhattan and New Jersey!

How to Borrow a Pass:

Oradell residents aged 18 and older, with a valid library card in good standing, can reserve museum passes up to 30 days in advance on a first-come, first-served basis. Passes may be reserved in person, online, or by calling the library at 201-262-2613. You will need your library card number to reserve a pass. We have passes available to the following institutions:

  • American Museum of Natural History
  • Aviation Hall of Fame & Museum of NJ
  • The Frick Collection
  • The Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum
  • The Hermitage
  • Intrepid Sea, Air and Space Museum
  • Montclair Art Museum
  • Newark Museum of Art
  • Thomas Edison Center at Menlo Park
  • Yogi Berra Museum & Learning Center

Reserve a Museum Pass

Please note:

  • We offer vouchers to the American Museum of Natural History. Each household is entitled to two vouchers per calendar year. Both vouchers must be picked up at the same time. Vouchers act like tickets and do not need to be returned.
  • Passes to The Hermitage are date-specific and do not need to be returned.
  • All other passes are loaned for 3 days and 2 nights. For example, passes borrowed on Monday are due back on Wednesday.
  • Patrons may only borrow one pass at a time.
  • We recommend you reserve a pass for the day before you plan to visit the museum. The pass can be returned the day after your visit.
  • You may have to reserve timed tickets with the museum in addition to reserving the library’s museum pass.
  • A $50 cash deposit will be collected at the time of the loan and will be refunded when the pass is returned to the library’s main desk on time. Passes cannot be returned in the bookdrop or to another library.
  • Late returns of museum passes will result in a forfeiture of the $50 deposit and revocation of museum pass borrowing privileges.
  • In the event a pass is lost or stolen, the borrower will be responsible for the cost of replacement.
