    The Oradell Free Public Library Foundation presents an opportunity for opera fans to catch a performance from 6 MET stars at a fraction of the price – and a chance for those who are new to opera to check it out locally. The one hour show will be a medley of songs from various operas and a few showtunes from Rodgers and Hammerstein. 

    Tickets are $30 for adults, $25 for seniors, and $10 for students 18 years-old and under.

    Tickets are available by cash or check at the library’s main desk or online by credit card. All proceeds will go to the Oradell Public Library Foundation.

    The film chosen for the next meeting on Monday, May 19, 2025 (third Monday to avoid Memorial Day), is Hairspray (1988), an American comedy film, written and directed by John Waters, starring a celebrity cast and considered a dramatic departure from Waters’s earlier works, with a much broader intended audience.

    Discover the beauty and ingenuity of vintage telephones in this special exhibit. Featuring models from the roaring ’20s to the vibrant ’70s, this collection showcases the evolution of design and technology. All phones were generously loaned by local collector Sam Tripsas.
