How to Request Items Online through BCCLS
When seeking to access library materials, you can utilize the BCCLS website to locate resources and have them sent to the open library of your choice for pick up. Follow the easy steps below.
1. Go to search.bccls.org and use the search box:
2. Click “Place Hold” on the item you want to request:
3. Log in with your library card number and passcode:
4. Select your preferred pickup location from the dropdown menu and click “Confirm Location”:

JerseyCat Borrowing
The Oradell Public Library is able to request materials via JerseyCat from outside of BCCLS, provided said items are not in BCCLS. The JerseyCat catalog includes the collections of almost all of New Jersey’s public libraries as well as many colleges, universities, and schools.
The Adult Services Librarian is glad to search the JerseyCat OPAC and request items for Oradell residences (non-residence should visit their home library and see the person in-charge of JerseyCat and/or Inter-Library Loan).
